HOW TO GIVE YOUR EXTERIOR A ‘GLOW UP’

Spring is creeping around the corner! The snow is melting, the birds are chirping and we are all itching to see some green grass start to grow (like, come on).

With springtime approaching, it’s time to clean up the yard - and give the exterior of your home some LOVE. If you feel your home is looking a bit drab on the outside, there are a few small improvements you can incorporate to give your home a little life!

Here are some tips on how you can give your exterior the small ‘GLOW UP’ it deserves:

A GREAT WALKWAY

A walkway may seem like a small detail, but it makes a big difference to the outside of your home. If your walkway is crumbling, jagged, or missing some pieces - it’s time to have it re-done.

You can also add some fun elements - like shrubbery along each side to frame it out, or lighting on each step for the nighttime!

UPDATE YOUR GARAGE DOOR

If your garage door is scratched, bent, or bleached from the sun - it’s time to replace it. You won’t believe the difference a new garage door can do to your home’s appearance.

Try adding a modern look, with wood details or small windows!

THE BIGGER PATIO, THE BETTER

Out with the small, in with the LARGE patios. If you are feeling a bit cramped on your patio - it might be time to upgrade. Besides, you need extra room for all that lounge furniture, a wood-burning pizza oven, and a fire table, right? What’s better than an upgraded outdoor living space?

GET SOME NEW FIXURES

If you still have ’70s light fixtures by your front door, it’s time to upgrade. There are so many opinions to choose from when it comes to outdoor light fixtures. Plus, it can be a big safety feature to add a little more light to your front door!

You might be excited to go out and get the exterior of your home ready for the warmer months - and then realize it needs a lot more work than you can handle. Or, you just feel like it’s time to give your exterior a fresh-new-look with bigger projects, such as a complete re-design. Either way, we can help!
